IPL 2021, KKR vs RCB Live Cricket Match Score 2021 Online Updates: Match no 31st of Vivo IPL 2021 between Kolkata vs Bangalore on Monday. RCB (3rd) and KKR (6th) will be playing the second match after the restart of the IPL 2021 season in the UAE. The match will be played from 7:30 pm (IST) onwards at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

KKR vs RCB Live Cricket Score: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered an easy 9 -wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their first match of the UAE-leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Varun Chakravarthy and Andre Russell took 3 wickets each. After that Shubman Gill and debutant Venkatesh Iyer dominated over RCB bowlers. Varun Chakravarthy won the Player of the Match award.

Brief Scores: Royal Challengers Bangalore: 92 all out in 19 overs (Devdutt Padikkal 22; Varun Chakravarthy 3/13, Andre Russell 3/9, Lockie Ferguson 2/24).

Morgan | KKR Captain: The timing of it is excellent. The talent we have within our squad, sometimes that counts for nothing. You have to go out there and show how good you are. Was 50-50 about the toss. Bowlers have had an outstanding day today. Maxwell, AB, Virat โ€“ we got on top of them which is fantastic and really rare. Have a long way to go. Need a lot of things to go right for us. Today was the perfect start. Maybe makes us a dangerous side โ€“ we havenโ€™t turned up to the tournament so far.

Virat Kohli | RCB Captain: It was important to get a good partnership on this surface. We honestly didnโ€™t expect that much dew to kick in so early, we couldnโ€™t have predicted that. It looked like a good wicket to bat on first up. We were 42-odd for one and then lost about five wickets within 20 runs from there, which is a very difficult situation to come back from.

Bit of a collapse there for us, a bit of a wake-up call and might as well have this at the start of the second leg so that we know exactly what we need to work on. As professional cricketers, you are expected to turn up and adjust to the formats, thatโ€™s the dynamic of world cricket today.

We have never found any troubles doing that but sometimes it can take you a game to get into the tournament. You have to stay with the 8-ball, especially in this format. If not, then the other team is going to be all over you. You canโ€™t afford to lose four or five wickets within 20 runs.

Varun Chakravarthy is Pretty good, thatโ€™s exactly what I was saying in the dug-out, heโ€™s going to be a key factor when he plays for India. We need to see performances like these from all the youngsters so that the bench strength of Indian cricket stays strong. And, heโ€™s someone who is going to play in the near future for India and itโ€™s a great sign.

We have five wins from eight games, we expect a loss here and there in this tournament. Thatโ€™s part and parcel of things. You have to take it in your stride like you take your victories in your strides as well. We just need to be professional and stick to our strengths and make sure that we execute the plans that we have properly on the field. We have absolute confidence in this squad that weโ€™ll be able to pull up from the next game onwards and put in strong performances.

Eoin Morgan โ€“ Looks really good, it should stay pretty similar for the entire length of the game. Hoping that the performances will change in this phase of the tournament. Itโ€™s been challenging, but we are happy to be back here.

Virat Kohli โ€“ โ€˜We will bat first. Looks like a good pitch, the grass will hold it together, will slow down as the game progresses. This oneโ€™s special, we promised back in May that weโ€™ll play for the Covid warriors, here it is โ€“ weโ€โ€™ auction this uniform and the proceed will go to them. Two debutants for us โ€“ KS Bharat and Wanindu Hasrangaโ€™
